Spicy Lamb Burger

Real home made burgers flavoured with lamb, oats and spices.
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
11/2 tablespoons garam masala
3oz Quaker Oats
450g (1lb) minced lamb
1 large carrot, grated
2 tbsp fresh mint chopped (optional)
1 egg, beaten
4 ciabatta baps
Add to basket
1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a pan and gently fry the onion for 6/8 minutes until soft and golden. Add the curry powder, and Quaker Oats and cook for a further minute. Tip in to a large bowl and set aside to cool.
2. Add the remaining burger ingredients to the cooled onion mixture and mix well. Season with black pepper. Divide the mixture into four burgers.
3. Preheat the oven to 200C (fan oven). Heat the remaining olive oil in a large, non-stick frying pan and sear the burgers on each side, until well coloured (approx 3/4 minutes). Place on a baking tray and cook for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through.
4. Serve the burgers on toasted ciabatta baps, with salad and your favourite fruit relish.
