1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C (gas Mark 3)
2. Peel and core the apple,chop it into medium-sized pieces, mix with the mincemeat
and put the mixture into an ovenproof dish.
3. Dice the butter and rub into the flour to produce a crumb-like consistency. Add the
Quaker oats and sugar, then mix well. Spread on top of the apple and mincement
4. Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes until golden-brown.
5. Serve with rum and raisin ice cream.
