Healthy Oat Chicken

Preparation:

Cooking:

6 tbsp. rolled oats

1 tsp. garlic salt

1/2 tsp. mixed herbs

500g chicken pieces (legs, drumsticks or thighs)

Add to basket

Combine oats and seasonings in a large bag.

Add chicken and shake until coated.

Arrange chicken, skin side up, in a shallow roasting tin.

Bake, uncovered, at 200 degree C for 25 to 30 minutes until crisp.

Drain and discard any fat from pan.

SERVES 4 TO 6 – serve with crips green salad and crusty bread
